officer position classified at around level 8 HSOA. The sort of duties
involved include:-
Undertakes research, review and analysis of policy development needs and
conducts benchmarking activities as required.
Prepares policy statements and proposals in respect to policy areas.
Regularly evaluates project and program progress within the Midwest district
and provides regular reports on implementation and impact on service
delivery.
Monitors and evaluates systems, providing recommendations for improved
information analysis.
Prepares detailed reports, discussion documents, draft statements and
briefing notes as required.
Monitors and reports on financial performance of projects against approved
budget.
Establishes networks with key internal and external stakeholders relevant to
health service development within the Midwest and Murchison Health Region
and other agencies.
Participates in change management initiatives developed by the HSD team to
ensure the success of these programs at the local health service level.
