Dear PSWA Subscribers, Further to my programme details, here is some more
detailed information about STAND UP, SPEAK OUT :

Stand Up, Speak Out, and Enjoy Yourself!
Confident Speaking for the Slightly Nervous to the Frankly Terrified.

These courses in confident speaking are designed to assist people who need
to feel and look confident when speaking, and who are either nervous about
speaking in the focus of attention, or lack experience in these situations.

They are relevant to any member of the public service who needs to:
    attend meetings
    present to colleagues, boards, clients
    give tutorials
    go for interviews
    present at conferences
    give briefings
    attend social/networking occasions
    represent their department or agency

These courses will help you if you want to:
present with more effectiveness and authority
speak in a natural way in public
think clearly when youıre in the focus of attention
decide what you want to say and stick to it
stand your ground and say your piece
stop caring so much about what people think about you
speak clearly, so people hear you and take notice
use breathing to keep you calm
concentrate on listening and avoid the terror of ³what am I going to say
    when itıs MY TURN ?²
make real eye contact with your listeners
    handle questions calmly and effectively

Members of the Public Service have found that ²Stand Up, Speak Out and
Enjoy Yourself² has improved their general confidence and self esteem when
communicating with colleagues and clients, as well as assisting them to be
more effective in meetings and presentations.

³Stand Up, Speak Out and Enjoy Yourself ³ is a great course. It comes with a
money-back guarantee and has been been delivering the goods for 14 years,
helping the slightly nervous and the frankly terrified to feel better and
speak more effectively when they need to communicate in public. This course
is very practical, high energy, safe and fun.

THERE IS A MONTHLY FOLLOW-UP SESSION - ³KEEP TALKING². This means that you
are not abandoned after you have finished the course. You can come along and
keep practising in a supportive and challenging atmosphere for as long as
    you need to.
