                        GRAMMAR AND STYLE

    Target Group

    Staff at all levels who are required to write clear, concise and accurate
    communications.

    Course Description

    This interactive workshop is designed to clarify grammatical issues which
    affect the way your writing is received by your audience. Your
    communication skills will be refined so you have the ability to always use
    correct grammar and appropriate writing styles.

    Learning Outcomes

    Each participant will :-

    - Understand and use correct grammar
    - Write clear, well organised documents
    - Use an appropriate writing style

    Outline: This course includes:

      * understanding common errors in sentence structure
      * what is a correct sentence
      * appropriate sentence length

      * correct choice of words - when and why we use words such
                                as is/are, who/that/which
      * simple spelling rules - when and why they apply
                            * appropriate style - how to identify and when to
    use
                               different writing styles and formats

    This is a one day interactive workshop
