Good etiquette is far more complex than just knowing when to eat a
bread roll and which wine glass to drink from! In today's modern multicultural society,
'appropriate' etiquette can often be confusing, and when conducting business
and trying to create a good impression, you can't afford to make mistakes.
Etiquette is simply a set of rules that is learned and each culture has its own set of rules.
Can you answer these questions?
. What is the difference between etiquette and good manners?
. What is the basic difference between social and business etiquette in Australia?
. Do most Australians follow the Continental or American style of eating?
. How should we greet people from Asian cultures?
. What should we remember when receiving a gift from a person from an Asian culture?
Learn the answers to these and more in this interesting, informative and enlightening program.
"We rarely comment on a person's good manners.
We only notice bad manners!"
