have created an innovative new Learning Program

ITAP - Information Technology Assessment Program

The Information Technology Program (ITAP) is a brand new initiative from
ATI-Mirage, Western Australia's leading Information Technology training
organisation. The program brings together both National (Cert 1) and
International (ICDL) qualifications into the one Assessment Program - no
need to repeat multiple, similar assessments! For too long now, personnel
have attended training courses in IT subjects, but have never been able to
prove their competence. with this new program, your competence is tested,
benchmarked and confirmed, so that both yourself, your employer, and any
future employer can be assured of your proficiency.

This means when you complete all of the assessments you will have TWO
Nationally Recognised Certifications

ICDL
The International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) is the standard for
computer literacy in over 100 countries. With over 3 million participants
worldwide, the ICDL is a recognised international competency standard
controlled and endorsed by the Australian Computer Society. Seven modules
make up the ICDL, covering all of the basic IT requirements.

Certificate 1 in Information Technology
The Certificate 1 in IT is part of the Nationally Accredited and Recognised
Information Technology Training Package. Recognised throughout the Country,
the Certificate 1 in IT comprises six modules that meet nationally accepted
standards for computer literacy.

Assessments Required for Accreditation:
            a.. Using a Computer and Managing Files
            b.. Operate a Word Processing Application
            c.. Operate a Spreadsheet Application
            d.. Operate a Database Application
            e.. Operate a Presentation Package
            f.. Send & Retrieve Information over the Internet using Browsers
& Email
            g.. (ICDL ONLY) Basic Concepts of Information Technology

The Entire Package - Registration and 7 Assessments is $250

OR

Registration Fee is $50

Assessment Fees:
For EACH assessment is $50

Please note: if you are deemed not competent in one of the assessments
a fee of $50 is required in order to re-sit the assessment.
