Overview:
Your resume has worked for you and now it is time to demonstrate how well you play the Interview game. It's a game of words and impressions. When you understand the rules you can play the game with a lot more confidence and have a big influence on the outcome.

The interview process can often be seen as the biggest hurdle that people have to get over if they want to change careers. The uncertainty of what the selection panel might ask; who the competitors are and what they are offering; and whether you will be successful or not, makes for some anxious moments.

Learning Objectives:
This workshop is aimed at achieving the following objectives:

·To gain an understanding of the preparation and practice that is required to succeed at panel interviews.
·To understand and develop effective techniques in addressing competency-based interview questions.
·To identify the Do's and Don'ts of being an Interviewee.
·What do you want to ask them

Learning Outcomes:
The interactive workshop will give participants the opportunity to hone their interview skills in a controlled environment and to:

·practice in the roles of interviewer, observer, interviewee
·learn the value of feedback on their performance
·learn effective interviewing techniques

Recommended for: employees at all levels, including staff with disabilities
