Supporting your people in your workplace ...
Does your Organisation / Agency have an office full of computers with users
that kind of know what they are doing, but with a bit of coaching from a
competent facilitator would allow them to become really productive?
Lifelong Learning announces our new:
Learning Cafe' approach to desktop I.T. training.
What does this mean?
We have two approaches....
(1) We come to you.... for either a half or full day and *roam* your
office, popping in on users that require coaching in any Microsoft Office
desktop application. We bring the muffins, you supply the coffee. We keep
full records of who we have seen, duration of the coaching session, topics
covered and outcomes, so you can measure the benefit of this approach and
realise a return on your coaching investment. Our roving coaches are fully
qualified desktop I.T. specialists and facilitators: all holding Certificate
IV in Assessment and Workplace training and some with Microsoft specific
qualifications such as MCSE and MOUS.
(2) We come to you, but also bring up to 10 laptops with us and can
facilitate group sessions for your people. We provide the PC's, learning
materials and muffins.... you provide the room, tables and chairs,
electrical power points and coffee.
Methodology - Facilitated Open Learning (FOL):
We have developed a suite of task-based modules - *BYTES* as we call them
that deal with every aspect of office productivity aligned to the
appropriate feature within Microsoft Office. We can offer this to you in
all flavours of software from Office 95 (egads!!), Office 97, Office XP and
Office 2003. Your people choose the session or sessions they wish to work
through, and we coach them through to success. We encourage people to bring
actual workplace documents to the sessions so that they can be *doing* and
*learning* at the same time - instant productivity!
Visit www.lifelonglearning.com.au and check out our Session descriptors in
the ICT link from the home page.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
Fee Structure:
Roving Trainer - $450 per half day (3 contact hours) - $800 per full day
(7 contact hours).
FOL with PC's - $700 per half day (3 contact hours) - $1200 per full day (7
contact hours).
Optional: Lifelong Learning ring binder (can be used to hold all further
BYTES as required) and 1 byte - $20.00
BYTES (learning sessions) - hole-punched & unbound $12.00
each - bound $15.00 each
All prices quoted are ex GST.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------
You do the sums..... if we come to you and train 10 people in the morning
and 10 people in the afternoon (using the FOL approach) the fee per person
is only $60. If we come to you and roam your office and coach one of your
people to fully automate a report that has to be presented to the board
every month - you decide what that is worth to you? But let's say in the
course of that one day, we coach 15 people then the fee per person is only
$53 per person. Imagine the productivity you can gain for $53 by having
your own personalised coaching session.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------
Please contact di.granger@lifelonglearning.com.au to book your half or full
day. We are on stand-by, ready to come to you.
Note: FOL sessions with PC's - commencing 1 March - bookings essential.
Regards
Di
