Relevance to the public sector

Increasingly government agencies are being drawn into legal cases which
involve using market research as evidence. This talk provides an
overview of the criteria for briefing, reviewing and criticising market
research surveys designed to be used as evidence in court. It also
provides a good model for the criteria to be met in the design of good
survey work.

This talk will draw out principles of good work through some actual
legal examples and will be appropriate to the needs of those who work in
government departments.

Target audience
Marketing Managers
Market Research Managers
Legal people

Course objectives

Provide an understanding of the issues to be considered when
