Understanding Systems Theory
Application of Systems Theory to therapy with couples & families
Thorough assessment of family & couple "system"
Development of therapeutic hypotheses
Formulation of goals in therapy
Discussion of practical & theoretical issues in therapy
 
Relevance to the development of Public Sector employees' skills
Develop ability to understand "Systems Theory" in therapy
Apply "Systems Theory" and systems thinking when working with a family or a couple
Understand what is involved in the continuation of problem behaviour and how to use that knowledge to help change that behaviour
Become more effective in Counselling & Therapy with groups
Develop skills to effectively understand the family system and plan approriate therapeutic goals
