PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT PROGRAM: INFORMATION SESSIONS

The PSM Program is a public sector focused, middle to senior management development program. It is the pre-eminent tertiary qualification for public sector managers and has recently undergone a significant re-write to ensure it meets the demands of the new public sector environment and reflects the latest management concepts. The curriculum incorporates the most up-to-date theory and practice of public sector management, and emphasises their application in the workplace
The Program gives public sector managers the full range of skills needed to manage and is targeted at motivated middle to senior managers to equip them with broader skills for use at their present level as well as the skills needed for more senior positions. The focus is on the practical aspects of management and encourages participants to extend their capabilities.
Four leading universities accredit the PSM Program and graduates can select a qualification from one of these institutions at course completion.
     Curtin, Western Australia - (Graduate Certificate in Management)
    Griffith, Queensland - (Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Leadership)
    Macquarie, NSW - (Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management)
    RMIT, Victoria - (Graduate Certificate in Management (Public Sector)

The next intake for the PSM Program commences on 20 July 2007, with applications closing on June 8th 2007. The cost of the Program is $5,900 per participant.
