In an increasingly competitive labour market, attracting and retaining quality employees will be a priority for public sector agencies. This workshop covers the latest attraction and retention theory and practice, including development of staffing strategies, recruitment and selection methods and processes, and the effective use of retention levers.
This workshop looks at positioning the organisation in the labour market and minimising turnover. Topics include:
o developing staffing strategies;
o recruitment and selection methods and processes;
o retention levers; and
o attraction and retention case studies.
Presenter: Dr Renu Burr from AIM/UWA Business School Alliance
This workshop is targeted at HR managers and practitioners (level 7 and above) who have a broad understanding of SHRM principles.
