JOB DESCRIPTION:
An opportunity exists to contribute to a variety of service delivery projects/initiatives being implemented through the Customers Services Branch. The successful applicants will support the Manager Land Information Products & Services, and the CMA & LEC & OLS teams by providing the continuity of effort required to progress change in a customer focused environment.

Duties of Positions
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Frontline Enquiries
Responds to the bulk of frontline customer enquiries relating to LandOnline Dola's internet delivery system, and extending to other customised maps and aerial photography products.

Product Supply and Distribution
Performs geo-spatial data extracts and generates customised hardcopy and softcopy products from DOLA’s land information systems.
Schedules, orders and distributes online products and services to customers.
Calculates fees and invoices clients for online products supplied, issues receipts for monies received.
Checks invoices received and passes to manager for payment.
Maintains databases for online customer orders.

Customer Awareness and Advice
Provides a user enquiry service for online systems. (eg Skyview, LandLinlks).
Supports in-house and external awareness sessions for a range of online products derived from DOLA’s geo-spatial information. (eg Farm Maps)

User Testing and Documentation
Performs user testing of functionality and enhancements to systems prior to implementation.
Prepares and maintains user manuals, documentation and brochures.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
The position focuses on demonstrating competency in the following:

The Discipline
The ability to operate in a technical role in a land information environment where the focus is on online delivery systems, particularly Internet (virtual counter). This will include a variety of products, such as aerial photography, satellite imagery, topographic, thematic, geodetic, tenure and spatial cadastral products. ArcView & ArcInfo experience would be an advantage.
Leadership/Teamwork
Ability to participate in a customer focussed team, demonstrating the capacity to lead smaller groups when required.
Problem Solving
Achieve business objectives, balancing revenue and non-revenue objectives in the delivery of products and services to customers.
Customer Focus
Prioritise tasks, optimising the use of available resources and ensuring the timely delivery of products and services in line with customer needs.
Communication
Demonstrate good communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills, and the application of those skills in a frontline customer service role.
