JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manages publications, and special community education and communications projects for the Office of Road Safety and the Road Safety Council.
***This position is being offered for a period of 15 months with a possible extension**
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
v Experience and skills in planning, staging, managing and evaluating major projects and events.
v Experience in community education methods.
v High level of interpersonal skills.
v Ability to gain cooperation for a range of diverse organisations.
v Verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
v Conceptual analytical skills.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
v Tertiary degree in education or social sciences or related area.
v Knowledge of research methods.
v Knowledge and understanding of road safety education issues and priorities.
v Ability to use statistical and graphical packages.
v Understanding of quality management principles and continuous improvement methods.
