JOB DESCRIPTION:
Expressions are invited from staff to undertake the above position for a period of 3 months. This position provides strategic market analysis to support the Business Re-alignment Project.
A brief description of the duties of the position is:
 Undertake analysis and investigation of product, customer and sales data to identify market trends and assess these within the context of DLI’s strategic intent.
 Consult and liaise with internal and external customers to investigate the alignment of DLI’s current business outputs with market requirements.
 Manage the ongoing collection, coordination and compilation of DLI’s customer and product information.
 Report on product and customer information to assist strategic product development.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Applicants should provide evidence of competency in the following areas.
 Research and analytical skills and knowledge of information management.
 Communication skills (verbal and written) including effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the ability to establish networks and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including customers and stakeholders. High level consultation, negotiation and presentation skills.
 Ability to anticipate and identify problems in order to provide innovative business solutions.
 The ability to recognise opportunities to enhance product/service delivery and capitalise on these through the planning and development of marketing strategies.
 Demonstrated resource allocation and project management skills.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Evidence of competency could also include (in addition to other evidence):
 Demonstrated knowledge of land and property information products and services.
