JOB TYPE: Temporary Full-Time
DURATION: 3 months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the Information Systems Branch with IT support and help desk functions.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Ability to provide technical computing support in dealing with system users and in the provision of help desk support.
Basic kowledge of local and wide area networks and computer communications.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/XP Operating Systems/Server 2000 Systems and Microsoft Office XP Professional (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience in the installation, maintenance and support of IT equipment, including networks, personal computers and printers.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Access XP and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
Knowledge of Election Systems.
Qualification in computing.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Adobe Writer.
