Expressions of Interest are sought to fill the above position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides strategic support to the Human Resource Manager in the development, implementation and coordination of best practice human resource strategies which contribute to improved human resource management across DOCEP. Responsible for the coordination and administration of the Human Resources Advisory Committee and the Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound conceptual and analytical skills.
* Experience in policy development, implementation and evaluation.
* Well developed research and project management skills.
* Understanding of, and ability to apply, interpret and provide advice on relevant legislation, awards, acts, regulations, policies and procedures.
* Understanding of, and commitment to, human resource principles and continuous improvement strategies.
DESIRABLE
* Achievement of, or progress towards, a tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
* Competency in the use and application of a personal computer and appropriate software.
