JOB TYPE: Temporary Full-Time
DURATION: 6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists the FESA Manager Employee Relations in delivering effective development and implementation of customer focused employee relations services to support FESA's strategic and operational goals.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
1. Demonstrated experience in industrial and employee relations.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of the State and Federal labour relations systems, legislation, policies and practices.
3. Demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice on relevant awards and legislation.
4. Demonstrated ability to prepare and assess a range of written documentation, including developing and reviewing human resource policies.
5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and difficult situations, with the ability to influence individuals or groups to achieve desired outcomes.
6. Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to identify, research and analyse options to respond to changes in labour relations law and practice.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse workload and meet competing deadlines.
9. Knowledge of and ability to apply EEO and diversity management principles and practices.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
10. Possession of, or progress towards a relevant qualification.
11. Commitment ot working in a values driven organisation.
