JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leads the development and implementation of the Finance and Logistics Plan. Provides financial analysis of projects in Lotterywest's corporate plans. Participates in the development and maintenance of performance reporting systems. Leads the coordination, preparation, implementation and monitoring of budgets and budget development processes. Provides revenue and sales analyses, forecasts and projections and evaluates performance against benchmark indicators. Leads benchmarking activities in collaboration with other Lottery jurisdictions. Identifies, initiates and provides financial management information to executive management on strategic financial issues and operational impacts of activities and trends
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Tertiary level qualifications in Accounting accepted for full professional membership of a recognised accounting association.
Proven record of successful application of financial modelling and other management accounting techniques within a complex organisation.
Proven record of providing high-level business analysis and strategic financial advice to senior management.
Proven record of leadership in the development of budget systems and in the preparation and monitoring of organisational budgets.
Proven record of human resource leadership and management, particularly in the formation of productive teams and the development of staff.
Proven record of developing, implementing and evaluating strategic financial plans.
