Provides assistance and support for the Inspector of Custodial Services in relation to the carrying out of relevant functions arising under Part XA of the Prisons Act 1981 and Part 5 of the CSCS Act 1999. Participates in the planning, inspections and reviews of custodial places and services and in stakeholder relations.
