PROJECT COORDINATOR
Level 5: $51,884 - $57,342

Commencing as soon as possible for up to 12 months

Job Description:
- Assisting the Director in project managing the Indigenous Women's Strategic Plan, the Indigenous Women's Congress and the Indigenous Reference Committee.
- Ongoing evaluation of the Indigenous Women's Strategy, the Indigenous Women's Congress and the Indigenous Reference Committee.
- Development of measurement systems, benchmarks and performance indicators.
Selection Criteria:
ESSENTIAL
Demonstrated experience and knowledge and skills in:
1. Developing project management frameworks, which includes planning, coordinating and evaluating projects.
2. Working independently or as part of a team.
3. Managing projects with diverse stakeholders including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and government agencies.
4. Developing and maintaining project management data systems.
5. The provision of executive and administrative support.
6. Outstanding written communication skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups.
DESIRABLE
1. Knowledge and awareness of contemporary women's issues and trends, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and ways of applying that knowledge.
