LOCATION: Albany Regional Prison, Pardelup and Walpole Work Camps
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Albany Regional Prison is a maximum-security facility for remand and sentenced prisoners located approximately 400kms south of Perth. It is the only maximum-security institution located outside the Perth Metropolitan Area. The prison handles only male offenders, has a considerable budget and in the vicinity of 110 members of staff. The prison also operates two, seven-day a week, live in work camps for up to 32 prisoners based at Walpole and Pardelup.
The Coordinator, Human Resources is responsible for the provision of quality human resource management services to Albany Regional Prison, Pardelup and Walpole Work Camps. The role assists in the coordination, monitoring and reporting of human, financial and physical resources of the Prison. The Coordinator, Human Resources will provide an advisory service in relation to human resource policies, procedures, award interpretation, industrial issues and other complex matters. In addition the Human Resource Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the shift roster and the leave roster to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of resources at Albany Regional Prison.
