PERSONNEL/PAYROLL OFFICER
(Full-time, fixed term position or secondment for one year from May 2004)
This position within Edith Cowan University's Management Services Centre contributes to the effective operations of the Centre by providing services and standard advice and support to staff and external customers regarding day to day personnel and payroll transactions.
The major accountabilities for this position are to:
1. Provide advice to employees and managers regarding HRM policies, practices and certified agreements and respond directly to standard queries from staff and resolve queries regarding employee records and entitlements.
2. Calculate manual payments, overpayments, and termination payments of employees.
3. Operate in a team based and multi skilled area and assist other team members as required to ensure deadlines are met.
4. Assist in the training and multi-skilling of all customers in the functions of HRMIS, Concept.
Completion of an associate diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience OR an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience is essential.

The position attracts remuneration of $36, 334 to $44, 232 pa.
