JOB DESCRIPTION:
The major role of the position includes monitoring budget performance and assessing budget estimates for the agency’s budget, cash management, leave liability, providing budget management advice and guidance. The position also monitors portfolio budgets, agency non-cash expenses and revenues such as depreciation, superannuation, leave expense and revenues ensuring early identification and reporting of variations, trends, issues, solutions and opportunities.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Applicants are requested to provide a CV and address a selection criteria as stated below:
·Analytical and conceptual skills;
·Financial and budget management experience;
·Experience in the use of a personal computer.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
·Possession of, or significant progress towards a tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance or a related field and/or eligibility for membership of a professional accounting body would be an advantage.
