JOB DESCRIPTION:
IT service delivery manager for the agency, ensuring the agency’s infrastructure support services are provided with a high degree of customer focus and service delivery. Resources the work environment through budget processes, asset management and the procurement of new equipment and software, and the subsequent allocation and monitoring of these resources. Supervises IT contracts. Coordinates planning and development of agency IT projects. Participates in design and development of agency systems development projects.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
SKILLS & ABILITIES
High level of written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
High level of investigative and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated policy formulation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Indigenous Australians.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Substantial experience and knowledge of systems development and information technology with a strong user focus.
Substantial experience and knowledge of financial management and budgetingDemonstrated knowledge of government purchasing and contract management policies.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Indigenous Australian
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
