SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to :
a) Provide strategic management and leadership to achieve strategic objectives and organisational outcomes.
b) Identify and manage key government, business and community relationships.
c) Provide quality advice and reports that contribute to the overall strategic management of an organisation.
2. Demonstrated experience in:
a) Major policy formulation, planning and research, successful implementation and evaluation.
b) The development of measurement systems, benchmarks and performance indicators to successfully influence policy.
3. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of :
a) The principles of inclusiveness, engagement, capacity building and coordination and the application of these in a policy and planning environment.
b) Contemporary women's issues and trends, including those relevant to Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, young and senior women and ways of applying that knowledge.
Desirable
4. Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
