DURATION: 4 months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
 Undertakes a leadership role in the investigation and analysis of complex issues and/or the development and implementation of major initiatives and projects.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
1. Project leadership, team facilitation skills and demonstrated initiative with proven ability in the development and implementation of projects and associated communication strategies.
2. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and liaison skills with demonstrated ability to relate effectively with officers at all levels.
3. Experience in project management, including the capacity to prioritise work, meet targets with strict deadlines and manage project communication requirements.
4. Experience in identifying data requirements and undertaking data assessment in support of policy objectives.
5. Experience in contract development and contract management.
6. High level of problem solving, analytical, conceptual and evaluation skills.
7. High level of written and oral communication skills including detailed report writing.
8. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all resources in accordance with the principals and requirements of legislation/policy governing the Public Sector.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
1. Possession of or progress towards tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
2. Knowledge of survey methods, questionnaire design and data analysis skills.
