Expressions of interest are invited for the above position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The REBA Policy and Research Officer is responsible for researching, reviewing and formulating policy or recommendations as directed by the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA).
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to develop policy solutions at a public policy level
*
* High level ability to interpret and apply legislation and communicate orally or in writing about that information
*
* Demonstrated planning and project management skills
*
* Demonstrated research and analytical skills
*
* Demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
*
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills including working cooperatively with others as a member of a small team
*
* Demonstrated well developed oral and written communication skills
*
* Desirable:
*
* Knowledge of the real estate industry and relevant legislation.
*
* Knowledge of the Board's role, initiatives and policies.
*
* Possession of, or progress towards, a relevant tertiary qualification.
