JOB DESCRIPTION:
Project manages the National Communications Fund/Network WA Project.
***The Office of E-Government of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet invites expressions of interest from suitable applicants for this challenging acting/secondment opportunity for a period of 3 months with a possible extension.
Permanent public sector employees will be considered on a secondment/acting basis so please check with your department/supervisor for possible release prior to submitting your application**
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Demonstrated strategic management skills together with a high level of initiative.
Highly developed communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with individuals, demonstrated people management skills at all levels, the ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships and including collaboration, liaison and negotiation skills.
Highly developed project management skills using a formal project management methodology (eg Prince2) including demonstrated experience in implementing large-scale projects, experience in managing the financial outcomes and reporting progress of high value projects.
Knowledge of regional telecommunication issues relating to education and health services including issues associated with online delivery.
Demonstrated knowledge of government procurement processes, contract management and Government panel contracts for telecommunication services.
