JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for someone who can start immediately to assist in the development and management of planning and information frameworks and tools; provide support on complex projects and assist in the coordination and delivery of projects and policies across the Division. This opportunity is for a period of 3 months or until the position is filled via further recruitment.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Key Responsibilities of the position are:
In particular we are looking for someone to take on the following duties:
 Provides project management support on a range of complex projects.
 Assists in the coordination and delivery of projects and policies across the Division.
 Assists in the development and management of processes and tools to support good project management practices.
 Collates, analyses and prepares reports on planning initiatives.
 Researches and investigates project issues.
 Assists in development strategies and initiatives to support the delivery of projects.
 Participates in a range of business improvement initiatives.
 Liaises and consults with staff on the development of new frameworks and tools.
 Liaises with staff in order to collate required information necessary to fulfil planning and information management outcomes.
 Provides advice on the use and application of planning and information management processes and tools.
 Represents the team on committees and working parties as directed.
 Undertakes other duties as directed.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

High level verbal and written communication skills; ability to succinctly and accurately convey complex information; the ability to maintain positive relationships.

Ability to participate effectively in a team environment so as to achieve positive outcomes. Ability to foster constructive professional relationships with a diverse client group.

Assist in the coordination and delivery of complex projects. Proven ability to collect, analyse and present information to assist decision-making. Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Display initiative and problem solving skills. Ability to develop concepts, ideas
