Expressions of Interest are sought to fill the above position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for the provision and maintenance of a quality consultancy and advisory service within the Consumer Protection, Corporate Services and Strategy Division located at the Forrest Centre sites of DOCEP. It participates in the formulation and management of policies and strategies to achieve the department's objectives.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Working knowledge of relevant acts, regulations, awards and agreements, with particular emphasis on their practical application to ensure compliance with appropriate accountabilities.
* Experience in delivering a broad range of human resource services.
* Ability to work with customers, to clearly understand their needs, and provide a service to meet these needs.
* Organisational skills including the demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
* Experience in policy development, implementation and evaluation.
* Knowledge of the current trends and issues in the human resource environment.
DESIRABLE
* Possession of, or progress towards, an appropriate tertiary qualification
