The Kwinana Industries Education Partnership is a formal agreement between
multiple senior high schools and members of the Kwinana Industries
Council.
The agreement is a commitment to work together to develop mutually
beneficial long-term relationships in order to achieve excellence in
education that broadens the learning experiences, achieves a better
understanding of commerce and industry and enhances future training and
employment prospects of students in the Rockingham, Kwinana and Hamilton
districts.
The Kwinana Industries Education Partnership has received the highest
acclaim and prestigious awards on a national and international scale.
The position will entail developing and maintaining linkages to industry
and business. Examples of particular areas of impact include school-based
traineeships, vocational education and training, post-schools innovation
with tertiary institutions, and a number of associated community projects.
A strong knowledge of vocational education in schools is therefore
essential.
The Executive Officer/Manager would be responsible for the management and
coordination of a wide variety of core business areas, future innovative
approaches to training delivery of programs and information, and the
establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships within
the community.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who will demonstrate -

? excellent communication skills, both written and oral,

? flair for marketing
? ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

? initiative to fully develop new and existing opportunities which will
be key aspects of this demanding role.
A generous salary package will be offered, commensurate with experience
and qualifications.
A secondment opportunity would be seriously considered.
