DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the switchboard and front counter for the Real Estate & Business Agents Supervisory Board and the Settlement Agents Supervisory Board. Directs callers and clients and provides information as required. Provides administrative support to the staff and Members of the Real Estate & Business Agents Supervisory Board and the Settlement Agents Supervisory Board. Performs bench clerk duties during board tribunal hearings.

Experience:
* Experience in office administration procedures and providing clerical support.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Well developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels.
* Well developed keyboard skills and experience in the use of word processing and spreadsheet packages.
* High developed customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing discretion and initiative.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Compliance Officer is required to undertake complex investigations to determine compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements. The Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote industry compliance and consumer protection. The Senior Compliance Officer works as a part of a team delivering a holistic compliance program related to a particular industry area, and may be required to supervise staff involved in the compliance program.
SELECTION CRITERIA:

Experience:
* Proven experience in the implementation of a comprehensive program of monitoring, investigating and promoting compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Well developed knowledge and skills in the collection, collation, organization and presentation of information in reports and for formal Inquiries and Court proceedings.
* Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels, including skills in consultation and negotiation.
* Proven ability to analyse and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Demonstrated commitment to the achievement of a customer focus to ensure that the needs of clients are met.
* Ability to think and act strategically with a focus on outcomes.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection's role, initiatives and policies, and the relationship between the Department and relevant regulatory Boards.
* An understanding of legislative frameworks that apply to industries regulated by the Department of Consumer and Employment Protection and the relevant Boards
