JOB DESCRIPTION:
Oversees the timely and effective development, delivery and
implementation of a project plan for a state wide irrigation review
including responsibility for time, cost, quality outcomes, stakeholder
relationships, progress reports to Steering Committee and Ministerial
Reference Group.
Liaises with a range of government agencies, community groups and
industry stakeholders.
***The Policy Division of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet
invites expressions of interest from suitable applicants for this
challenging acting/secondment opportunity in the State Water Strategy
Unit for a period of 12 months.
Permanent public sector employees will be considered on a
secondment/acting basis so please check with your department/supervisor
for possible release prior to submitting your application**
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Well developed conceptual, analytical and decision-making skills;
Well developed oral and written communication skills, including report
writing;
Well developed interpersonal and presentation skills;
Demonstrated experience and ability in the co-ordination and management
of projects;
Ability to liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders and senior
management;
Complies with Public Sector policy and processes;
Demonstrated ability to meet budget and deadlines and work in a team
environment.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Knowledge of Project Management Software.
