JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position of Workplace Consultant contributes as part of a team to investigate Workplace Relations issues. The position undertakes classification and industrial work of a less complex nature to that undertaken by other team members in the branch.
The position conducts research and investigation into job classification and reclassification requests and prepares reports and recommendations for assessment by the Principal Workplace Consultant. The position evaluates position description forms, determines appropriateness of the statement of duties and selection criteria and recommends and makes modifications as necessary. As part of its industrial role, the position provides advice and undertakes research on salaries, wages and industrial relations issues.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Experience in a HR environment
Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
