East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is a diverse Area Health Service comprised of over 6900 employees at multiple locations with a full range of hospital and community based health services. The EMHS is a complex and demanding organisation.
This challenging position is responsible for the formulation and implementation of human resource, risk and other management strategies and systems which support the achievement of Area Health Service objectives and priorities.
Applicants for this position must demonstrate high energy, passion for people, have a strategic vision and sensitivity to the needs and opinions of the organisation. By nature a caring and compassionate person she or he should also be capable of leading change that may challenge and create initial uncertainty. Your success will be measured through building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Reporting directly to the Area Chief Executive, this position is part of the Executive Team and leads a Division responsible for a range of functions including Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Corporate Education, Occupational Health and Safety; Workplace Reform, Risk Management and management systems.
Remuneration: $94,779 - $101,904 additional benefits are a motor vehicle (private plated), superannuation, salary sacrificing and a wide range of health and recreational facilities.
