JOB TYPE: Temporary Full-Time

DURATION: 12 months

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the effective management and control of Ministerial Air Charter Services, related contracts, policies, guidelines and administration.

***The Office of State Administration of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet invites expressions of interest from suitable applicants for this challenging acting/secondment opportunity for a period of 3 months with a possible extension for up to 12 months.

Permanent public sector employees will be considered on a secondment/acting basis so please check with your Department/supervisor for possible release prior to submitting your application**

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Well developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.

Well developed oral and written communication skills, including report writing.

Well developed interpersonal and customer focus skills, negotiation skills.

Experience in liaising effectively with Ministers and senior officers in the public and private sectors.

Well developed organisation skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.

Experience in electronic databases (ability to develop, maintain and manipulate).

Ability to be on call after hours to receive queries on air charter bookings.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Experience in contract management and Government tendering and contracting policies and practices.

Experience in the use of the Microsoft Access Database products.
