Project Manager - Information & Communication Technology
Level 6
5 month contract / secondment opportunity with possibility of extension
Mid February 2004 - Mid July 2004
Overview of Role:
The Western Australian Tourism Commission (WATC) is currently in the
process of planning the relocation of its head office in mid 2004. As a
result from this initiative the WATC will require a skilled and
experienced Project Manager in relocating ICT products and services.
The Project Manager will have working knowledge or understanding in the
following areas, particularly relating such areas to relocation type
activities; Voice and Data Network Carriers, Cisco networking systems,
NEC PABX systems, Mobile telephony, Cable management systems, Power
management systems, LAN and WAN design and analysis, Logistical and
operational activities associated with relocation of ICT products and
services, Computer room design and fit out, Building or facilities
management, Planning and management of ICT products and services, Voice
and data standards
The person we are seeking :
Persons interested in this position should be able to demonstrate
appropriate experience/skills and abilities including previous
experience in ICT office relocation, highly developed communication
skills; highly developed negotiation skills; project and contract
management experience; understanding MS Project and Visio technical
package.
